Mohamad Nasser Yousif

Welcome to The SolidWorks Expert (TSWE). I’m Mohamad Nasser Yousif, a Certified SolidWorks Mechanical Design Expert with over eight years of experience in mechanical design, product development, and engineering for manufacturing.

My work spans a wide range of industries, including recreational vehicles, marine products, robotics, and RC vehicles. I led the complete mechanical design of the Capax RV for Exodus Rigs in California — a collapsible, garageable off-road RV with an adjustable suspension and fully engineered folding structure. I also designed 1/5 scale Formula 1 RC cars in both electric and gas variants, developed body kits for the Traxxas X-Maxx, designed rotomolded boats for the largest manufacturer in the U.S., and engineered automated mechanisms for robotic kitchen vending machines and hundreds of other complex engineering projects and products.

My core competencies include advanced 3D modeling and mechanical design with SolidWorks, reverse engineering with Geomagic Design X, hybrid surface modeling with PowerSurfacing, FEA-based structural analysis, and photorealistic rendering and animation using KeyShot and SolidWorks Visualize. I also prepare full sets of fabrication and assembly drawings optimized for manufacturing and assembly processes.

I apply a detail-oriented engineering approach to deliver functional, manufacturable, and reliable mechanical solutions tailored to each project’s technical requirements and performance goals.
